1.) A good vendor never contacts you first. If you get a PN on a platform with a price list or other offerings it is a scammer. It often happens after you join a channel or group.
2.) Scammers use impersonation. Their profiles look almost identical to the real vendor's profiles. Same name, same thumbnail image, almost same username (with a space or . more or less)
